Lesmark Tool Company Inc., located on the southwest side of Chicago, was started in 1975. 

Lester Merklein, saw the need for a Tool and Die Shop to handle precision and specialty machining. With his previous work experience, hard work and dedication, he was able to fulfill the specialty machining requirements that the larger machine shops could not handle.

Lesmark Tool Company is a family run business. Mark, Lester Merklein's son, and his wife, Cheryl, now own and operate the 5,500 sq. ft. facility located at 101 S. Harris Drive. The company consists of six skilled, full-time machinists.

Lesmark Tool Company does work for companies throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada; working with some of the more prominent companies in the Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Electronics Industries.

Over the past twenty-five years, Lesmark's focus has remained the same: Precision Specialty Machining.
